This one-day practical course is designed for technicians who would like to increase their knowledge and confidence with radioactivity.

The course uses the guidance found in CLEAPSS guide L093 Managing Ionising Radiations and Radioactive Substances in schools and colleges.

It focuses on how technicians can effectively support a Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS Schools) and includes practical demonstrations with relevant safety points, as well as subject knowledge.
