CLEAPSS Supporting practical science and technology
Training for new School Science Technicians January 2016 (12 Day Course)
This course runs over 12 days and is available at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol. The course units will enable participants to develop the wide range of practical skills needed to be a competent school science technician as well as enhancing their understanding of the science behind common practical activities. The programme will provide opportunities to network with fellow technicians - including electronically between sessions, give access to individual tailored support from CLEAPSS advisers and help technicians make more effective use of CLEAPSS resources. The programme will raise the status of the technician in their school and highlight their invaluable contribution to pupil outcomes in science. Commencing February 2016 and then running every 2 weeks (approx.) until July 2016.
